Version 1.0.3 · 15 October 2026

Poku on your wrist.

Log or ask from your Apple Watch, see your budget on the Home Screen, edit a transaction by what's on its card, and keep the exact amount you typed in every currency.

1.0.2 was about money that hasn’t moved yet. This one is about reaching Poku without opening it: from your wrist, from your Home Screen, and from a guide that shows each way in.

Poku on Apple Watch

  • Log or ask from your wrist. Tap Log or ask and say “coffee 4.50 and lunch 12.50”: each expense gets its own card. Ask “how much did I spend today?” and the answer shows on the watch.
  • Lowering your wrist doesn’t stop it. A message keeps sending if you drop your arm or close the app. After about a minute with no connection, Poku keeps your sentence so you can try again.
  • This month is one turn of the Digital Crown away: what’s left of your budget, or how far over it you are, and what you spent today.
  • Your budget on the watch face, as a complication on any face.
  • “Add to Poku” with Siri. Say it, and Siri asks what you spent. “Log with Poku” and “track spending with Poku” work too.
  • On watchOS 26, Add to Poku is also a control for Control Center and the Action button on Apple Watch Ultra, and your budget rises in the Smart Stack around meal times.
  • What you send from the watch shows in your iPhone chat when you come back to it.
  • The watch signs in through your iPhone: open Poku on both and it’s ready. It needs watchOS 11 or later.

Your budget on the Home Screen

  • A Quick actions widget shows what’s left this month, or this week if your budget runs weekly, with a + to add a transaction and a mic to say one. It’s free on every plan.

Every shortcut, shown

  • Quick access, in the menu, shows each way to use Poku outside the app: the widget and Apple Watch. Each one has a short video, and the steps are under How it works.
  • Tips, in Settings, has things to ask Poku and a one-tap way to turn on notifications. It opens by itself once after you install or update, and Poku now offers notifications on that same page.

Edit what you can see

  • Change a transaction by what’s on its card. Poku finds the one you mean by its words, its price or its day, and an edit right after Poku shows you a transaction changes that one, not an older one with a similar name.
  • Poku does the sum. Say “make it 5 more” and the new amount is worked out for you, from the numbers you typed and nothing else.
  • Rename one by asking: “call it team lunch”.
  • Several at once. Edit or delete a handful of transactions with one confirmation, and the Yes, delete button tells you how many it removed.
  • Saying what something was after it’s filed corrects it. Tell Poku “that was a gym membership” and it’s treated as a correction, not a remark.

The amount you typed, in every currency

  • Poku saves the figure you wrote. A reply that would have stored a different number from the one in your message is refused instead of saved, and currencies without cents no longer turn 1.5 into 15.
  • Giving money to someone is logged as spending, not as income.
  • Every expense keeps the name and category you gave it, including the later ones in a long conversation.
  • When you go over a budget, the amount you’re over by is exact. Poku no longer works the figure out in its head.

Poku says what really happened

  • No more “Done” when nothing was done. If a change didn’t go through, or the transaction already had those details, Poku says so.
  • When a message with an amount saves nothing, Poku says so, instead of a cheerful “Logged”.
  • A budget is deleted only after you say yes. Someone asked Poku to undo an expense and lost their budget instead. “Add 50 to my budget” now adds 50, rather than setting it to 50.
  • Logging the same thing twice gets a heads-up. If a list repeats something you already logged, Poku logs it and points out the repeat, so you can remove it in one tap.
  • Poku learns where something belongs only from a category you picked, never from one it guessed.
  • A new log no longer gets an old answer. Poku sometimes replied to a fresh expense with the results of an earlier search.
  • A message that never got a reply no longer slips into your next log.

Also new

  • The Overview lists every category, not just the top five, with a Spent | Earned switch to see where your income came from.
  • A calmer Dashboard. Each day’s date sits inside its card, the day’s total shows only what you spent, and expenses drop the minus sign while income keeps its green +. Cards are flat, without shadows.
  • See how many transactions a month holds, above the list and on the Overview.
  • Search finds every word you type, in any order, and groups what it finds by day, like your transactions.
  • Change your name in Settings, under Preferences. Until now, the name you gave on day one was the one you kept.
  • Copying a message shows a short “Message copied” banner.
  • Pockets have a new wallet icon.

Fixes

  • A message that never reached Poku no longer shows as sent just because you had sent the same words before.
  • A reply still on its way keeps saying “Getting Poku’s reply…”. If you reopen Poku and it never came, you get Try again, and retrying never logs twice.
  • A reply that has already arrived no longer offers Try again.
  • Poku no longer sends two answers stuck together in one reply, and sentences in a reply no longer run together without a space.
  • A reply made only of invisible characters is retried rather than shown blank.
  • An open delete question isn’t asked twice.
  • The voice screen shows a reply that failed, with Try again, like the chat.
  • A repeat you edited in chat keeps its edited mark.
  • A search’s total always matches the transactions it lists.
  • Picking a date in Repeats no longer saves the day before in some time zones.
  • Swiping between Chat and Dashboard gives one tap as the page lands, instead of a tick halfway.
  • Settings shows your notification status straight away.
  • A guide video that can’t load says so, with Try again.
  • Loading placeholders keep shimmering when they change size.
